George V Memorial, Windsor

We had previously learned from Mrs. Hester Davenport that regrettably this memorial had been neglected and was in a poor condition. We have subsequently received a letter from Mrs. Davenport who says “I am delighted to inform you that a transformation has taken place in Windsor. Money has been found to clean up the Memorial, and better than that the mechanism has been put in order and the water flows into the basins again…. I felt that you would like to know of this success story.” This is very good news indeed and the Trust is grateful to Mrs.
Davenport and everyone else involved in bringing about such a positive outcome.
