Northcliffe Drawings

Prompted by Committee member, Richard Breese, the Trust acted quickly to secure the purchase of previously unknown Lutyens drawings relating to a proposed memorial for the Press Baron, Lord Northcliffe. The cost of £750 was raised through the generosity of a number of Trust members, and in due course, the drawings and some associated correspondence will be donated to the RIBA Drawings Collection at the V&A. The drawings will be available for members to see at the Goddards Study Day (17^th June 2009), and full details will be given in the Summer Newsletter.
