Lutyens Biography Wins The Duff Cooper Prize

This year The Architect and His Wife. A Life of Sir Edwin Lutyens by Jane Ridley has won the prestigious Duff Cooper Prize for non-fiction, biography and poetry. The shortlist was a distinguished one including Claire Tomalin’ s Samual Pepys. The Unequalled Self, winner of the Booker Prize, and Selina Hastings’ biography of Rosamond Lehmann.
