Restoration & Renewal of The Houses of Parliament

Friday 9 November, 15:30-17:15

1 Parliament St, Westminster, London SW1A 2JR

By kind permission of Julian Flannery, architectural lead for the restoration and renewal programme, members of the Lutyens Trust have been invited to attend a one-off tour of the Houses of Parliament as the six year project begins. We will also be joined by Claire Reed, the Historic Collections Manager for the project.

Members can also visit the Gift Shop, where they can purchase Minton Encaustic Tiles which have been removed from the Palace of Westminster and replaced with the 3rd generation since the building opened in 1870.

The tour takes places between 3pm-4:30pm at which point the Trust invites you on a pilgrimage to visit The Cenotaph, followed by an informal visit to 196a Piccadilly (former Midland Bank) where you can enjoy a beverage at The Swan Bar within Maison Assouline.

Price: £15 (excludes beverages)
