The Lutyens Trust is an educational charity (Registered Charity No. 326776) which acts as a source of information and help on the care and maintenance of the works of Sir Edwin Lutyens O.M., K.C.I.E., P.R.A., who died on New Year’s Day 1944.

Our aims and objectives include:

If you are in sympathy with what we are trying to do, we would welcome you as a member for the annual subscription of £25, or £30 for a joint membership; our year begins 29th March, Sir Edwin Lutyens’s birthday. You will be kept in touch with our activities via our regular newsletter.

Donations to continue and expand our work are also warmly received.

N.B. We are unable to provide drawings or portraits for publication, or provide permission for such publication - please visit the links page for organisations that may be able to help. We may be able to provide photographs of buildings or other works by Lutyens.

Goddards garden and parts of the ground floor are open for visits, by prior appointment only, on Wednesday afternoons between Easter and the end of October. Tickets cost £4 and must be pre-booked by telephoning Mrs Dorothy Baker, the guide, on 01306 730871 (9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday). N.B. This telephone number is only for pre-booking tours of Goddards, all other enquiries should be e-mailed or posted (see above). A guide book is available for £2.
